Foundations Speech & Language Services is a new Speech Therapy practice in Victoria, BC that offers play-based pediatric Speech Therapy to best meet the needs of your family.

Foundations Speech & Language Services is founded and directed by Max Mosley (SLP [CCC]).  

Max has been serving clients in Victoria since 2016, and has worked with every young age group, ranging from 9 months to 21 years old.

* We offer sessions through teletherapy, at our office space, and/or from the comfort of your own home, delivered by SLPs and SLPAs.

Foundations offers play-based Speech Therapy services and can help your child with the following: 

•  developmental receptive and expressive language (understanding and communicating with words and/or sentences).
• articulation and phonology (difficulties producing speech sounds or difficulties with speech patterns, such as initial consonant deletion, final consonant deletion, or syllable deletion).
• early language development (delays in meeting developmental language milestones). 
• fluency (stuttering and cluttering).
• social communication (difficulties with social and pragmatic skills, building relationships with peers and friends).
• executive functioning (planning tasks and working memory).
• AAC (use of alternative augmentative communication, including PECS, PODD, TouchChat, Proloquo2Go and more).
• formal and informal assessments (no waitlist for this service as of January 2025)
• *assessments available to be used towards an ASD Diagnosis*

For prospective clients looking to use AFU funding, Max is a registered member of the RASP (Registry of Autism Service Providers). 

If your child is on the wait-list to get a diagnosis of ASD, we can help with early intervention therapy to avoid missing out on a key window in early childhood language development. We can also complete a speech assessment (formal or informal) to give you more information about your child's current level of language and what kind of supports are needed.
