Foundations Speech & Language Services is a new practice specializing in play-based speech therapy in Victoria, BC. Our goal is to provide pediatric speech therapy services that best meet the needs of your family.

Founded and directed by Max Mosley (SLP [CCC]), Foundations has been serving clients in Victoria since 2016, working with children across all age groups, from 9 months to 21 years old.

* We offer flexible sessions through teletherapy, at our office space, or from the comfort of your home, all delivered by qualified SLPs and SLPAs.

At Foundations, our play-based speech therapy services can assist your child with:

- Developmental receptive and expressive language skills (understanding and communicating with words and sentences).

- Articulation and phonology (challenges in producing speech sounds or patterns such as initial consonant deletion, final consonant deletion, or syllable deletion).

- Early language development (addressing delays in meeting developmental language milestones).

- Fluency (dealing with stuttering and cluttering).

- Social communication (supporting difficulties with social and pragmatic skills, as well as building relationships with peers).

- Executive functioning (enhancing planning tasks and working memory).

- AAC (utilizing alternative augmentative communication methods, including PECS, PODD, TouchChat, Proloquo2Go, and more).

- Formal and informal assessments (as of September 2025, there is no waitlist for this service).

- Social groups designed for kids to improve conversational skills, perspective-taking, assertiveness, problem-solving, peer pressure, and more.

- Assessments that can be used towards an ASD diagnosis.

For families looking to utilize AFU funding, Max is a registered member of the RASP (Registry of Autism Service Providers).

If your child is currently on the waitlist for an ASD diagnosis, we can provide early intervention therapy to help avoid missing critical milestones in early childhood language development. We also offer speech assessments (both formal and informal) to provide insights into your child's current language level and the supports they may need.

We invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation over the phone to discuss your child's needs before committing to therapy.

To set up therapy sessions or assessments, please email us at foundationsvictoriaoffice@gmail.com for the quickest response.

Our new office is conveniently located in Royal Oak at Unit 103 - 4400 Chatterton Way, inside the Sutton Realty building.
